eGIX Acquires Bloomington’s Kiva
Networking
--Sixth merger
acquisition in 24 months for Carmel-based company--
INDIANAPOLIS – Steve Johns,
president and CEO of Carmel-based eGIX, Inc. announced today it
has acquired Kiva Networking, the Bloomington area technology,
networking and Internet provider. It is eGIX’s first major
acquisition deal of 2006, which follows an active 2005, where
the company formed three partnerships. Since January 2004, eGIX
has made six major acquisitions.
According to Johns, Kiva will
continue to operate under the leadership of its current team of
directors. Kiva will incorporate eGIX’s eVOLVE Voice-over IP
Business solutions and other local telephone service offerings
into their Kiva I.T. Options (KITO) product line, which provides
to businesses IT strategy, disaster recovery, security policy
and management, and much more.

ability to offer our clients integrated T-1 and IP communication

Kiva Networking. “eGIX already has a great reputation in
Indianapolis for its business solutions and will be a welcome
addition to the Kiva service offerings.”
